  • Can I buy certification support after I have been trained?

    Yes you can but it is a more expensive way of achieving the same thing.  The package is discounted when purchased together. If you want to add Havening to your skillset and be able to advertise yourself as a competent Practitioner, certification is the right route for you

  • What are the benefits of being a Certified Practitioner?

    Some think rubbing your arms is what Havening is.  They are ignorant of the elegance of how Ron Ruden's brilliant framework of the neuroscience understanding, delta waves, creativity and extensive range and learning the art of effective Havening can do. You will be able to promote yourself as a Certified Practitioner with the official logo, be advertised on the worldwide Havening site and be able to access all that the Private Worldwide Havening Community has to offer - including rich learning and practice-enhancing resources, research material, meet ups, courses and marketing support.  You may also be invited to join the MAX Associate programme which offers commercial opportunities to help grow your practice 

  • How do you support your Certification Students?

    All students who are certifying are given the opportunity to join a follow-up meeting shortly after the training to receive support and ask any questions they wish to.  There are also monthly exclusive MAX Meet Ups with fellow students and Certified Practitioners, emails are normally responded to within 24 hours, case studies will be reviewed and critiqued normally within 7 days of receipt   

  • Are there any other fees I need to be aware of?

    There are 2 fees you need to be aware of:

    1. Once you have certified there is a $99 annual payment that is made direct to Havening HQ to continue your certification and access to all the great resources and opportunities provided by Havening HQ

    2. If you are practising in the USA you need to complete an online Ethics course which is paid diect to the independent provider Midge Murphy ($150 August 2023)   

  • How am I going to manage to complete 20/ 30 Case Studies?

    The 20 written case studies with 3 videos or 30 written with 2 videos are a great opportunity to refine your Havening® expertise and broaden your application experience. When joining the Private Havening® Facebook Community you meet other Practitioners around the world who will be keen to be a subject for a case study. You can work with the same person for up to 3 Case Studies. Please note there is an additional £200 cost if you elect to attempt the 20 case studies route. Do you really want to forego the opportunity of having an additional 10 lots of feedback by a highly experienced Trainer & Practitioner  since 2014?! The 3rd video that has to be submitted needs to be superb in all respects. In the training you will see the 8 points that should be covered well.  If it is at the right standard the extra £200 will be returned less any finance transfer charges. If it is below certification standard the trainee will still need to complete the additional 10 case studies and the £200 will not be returned but will pay for the time  spent reviewing and critiquing the extra video. This written Jan 2026 I have only seen a handful of students (having reviewed and certified students and their case studies now for over 4 years) who would have unquestionably reached the required standard after only applying Havening® 20 times following the training. I strongly recommend gong the 30 case studies route.   • What support do you provide to pass the Science Review?

    The Science Review is there to ensure you understand the underpinning of neuroscience to Havening and can explain this professionally to your client. The 50 question exam is open book and on a MAX course we absolutely cover all the material you need to be aware of to pass the exam with 100%.

  • Which is better - online or in person Havening Training?

    Online Havening Training is very convenient of course and Havening works just as well online as it does in person.  In MAX training the time goes quickly because we strive to make the training always engaging and interesting.  With plenty of breaks, practice and opportunities to ask questions we often deliver courses over four half days to make sure you can get on with other things and don't get screen weary. In person is always nice however many of your clients will prefer online meetings too. Either way you will learn how to support your clients online or offline. 

  • What training do you provide for organisations?

    There is a mix of times and days of the week to suit all work schedules. If you would like to organise your own group training to suit your schedule please get in touch to discuss your needs

We work very flexibly so please ask.


You can just train in Havening® over a minimum 20 hour course.  HQ insist on a minimum of 16 but I don't consider that enough to be able to not only learn the theory but you need time to practise. My focus is to ensure you are confident and competent in being able to apply the different techniques immediately.

To provide the best service that you can for your client and be recognised as a competent Practitioner you should choose the Certification route.

Choosing Certification you will benefit from 1:1 support for a full year following the training course to ensure you have all the support and advice available that you need to certify successfully.

If you want to practise and advertise yourself as a Havening® Practitioner this is only available via the Certified Practitioner route. By the time you have been stretched and supported through all the elements of the Certification Package we ensure you reach a very competent level and you will have earnt the right to be recognised as a Certified Practitioner

Purchasing training and certification at the same time also provides a substantial discount.

How much does it cost?


The training by itself is £798 purchased direct and mentoring for a year to achieve Certification bought separately is £600. (If you are seeking great support for certification do get in touch). I have supported Dr Ruden trainees and others that have experienced training elsewhere and are delighted at the level of support I provide. 

Purchasing the two direct at the same time is £1298 instead of £1398.

If you purchase the two at the same time via PayPal, the cost is £1360 to account for bank charges. 
 
The training by itself is £838 purchased via PayPal and mentoring to achieve Certification bought separately is £956.


If you've taken the training previously and would like a refresher there is a special returner fee of £300 available.

First students learn by themselves through video study and quizzes how to become a really good detective - and to understand and apply the neuroscience. When choosing the best Havening® trainer for you the best trainer for you will depend on a combination of factors:


  • Training Experience: Look for trainers with a track record of success and positive testimonials.
  • Havening® Experience: Some trainers have experience in trauma, anxiety, phobias, leadership & coaching. Some have experience in all.
  • Location: In-person training may be preferred by some, while others might benefit from the convenience of online training.
  • Teaching Style: Consider whether a trainer's approach aligns with your learning preferences, hands-on, theoretical, or a blend of both.
  • Connection: A good rapport and sense of trust with your chosen trainer can significantly impact your learning experience. Check how they work, go to an intro, talk to them, are they approachable and helpful.  Do they welcome questions as an opportunity for everyone to learn?
