Gina shared her extensive personal experience with Tinnitus since 2004, describing how she used Havening Techniques® to manage different types of Tinnitus triggers including angry dreams, loud sounds, and emotional events. The session included a live demonstration where Gina guided demonstration volunteer (another Mark!) through an Event Havening protocol, helping him reduce his tinnitus distress from an initial distress level of 10/10 to an 8, then progressively to 8, 7, 4 and then 3 before time was up for the demonstration.


Insight developed through the application of EMLI in Havening enabled focus not at the moment when a boxing injury took place but later when the demo volunteer first realised the noise was in his head rather than an external source.


There were lots of interesting questions about working with medical tinnitus cases, the connection between menopause and tinnitus, and the importance of understanding both physical and emotional aspects of the condition.
